Your business will depend largely on you adopting and understanding the use of a business mindset in all of your endeavors. However, the success of your business might also hinge on the goals you set, how you set them, and the types of things you expect from yourself and your business. Using the business frame of mind that includes positive thinking, confidence, and a drive to succeed. You can create short term and long term goals for your business that completely reflect the business mind set that you need to succeed.
First, you should have a vision. You need a vision of the big picture; what do you expect from your business? You should also include the details of your business, as vivid and direct as you can make them. Set your daily, weekly, and monthly goals to get your business off the ground, and keep these goals changing and updating so that you can get the most out of your business.
The next part of setting goals is to be honest with yourself and know what you want. You have to know the depth of your passion, and understand that once the goals are set you have to actually achieve them in order to succeed. You also need to be honest about things. For example, don’t set a sales goal of $1 million in your first year just to impress your buddies if you can’t actually stick to it. Everyone knows that your business is new. Part of having a new business involves allowing it time to take off and starting with small goals.
You also need to focus on goals that are only for you. By having a good business mindset, you’ll be able to understand what is achievable and what isn’t, as well as how to make the goals yours and yours alone. Don’t let someone else design your goals for you, that’s your job. Also, it's obvious that you need to spend more time acting on the goals you create than you do actually writing them. Goal setting will be your first priority once you have the proper business mindset, and you need to take it very seriously because the success of your business can depend greatly on your goals and how you go about achieving them.
Set proper goals with proper timelines, and to achieve them when you set out to, because you are a committed, driven business professional with a business to own.

Nice tips. One more important thing after the goal set is being persist and not easy to give up for achieving it. Great goal is nothing without good effort.
