Blogging as a Career used to be an eBook product that I place on this website for sale. I make about 3 sales a month (approx. $60 USD. Ya I know, it's not much) from this one product. A good thing about it is its positive feedback from people who have purchased it.
Blogging as a Career is a website to teach people how to create and manage their first blog; it also shows you a legitimate way of expanding your blogging business and how you can turn it into your career. In fact, blogging career itself is an example of what exactly what I do to expand my Internet business revenue. I am being completely transparent to you on what I do online.
What's so special about it?
To be honest, there is really nothing special about it. All the information in the course outline are available everywhere on the Internet. I learned about blogging myself by doing extensive research on the Internet and simply by learning from other successful bloggers and blogs.
The Internet is filled with tremendous amount of information. It doesn't really matter which niche you are in, you can always find the information you need on the Internet. I will continue to add to the website on what I learn about blogging from time to time. And I hope that website can be a valuable resource for you when you need it.
Knowledge is getting harder and harder to sell online
What I see on the Internet is people putting together their knowledge into eBooks and selling them for profit. That is a legitimate way of earning profit online. There's nothing wrong with that; they are certainly allowed to reimburse themselves with their efforts of putting together their knowledge and experience into nice eBook bundles.
However, selling eBooks used to be a very profitable way of doing business online. It still is, for some people. But generally speaking it has become a lot harder to promote and sell eBooks on the Internet. This is because more and more people realize the amazing amount of knowledge they can find on the Internet, if they actually put in efforts looking for them, that is.
The bottom line...
I just figured instead of making it (Blogging as a Career) available to a small group of people (People who purchase it), why not make it accessible to everyone, benefiting a much larger group of people? If you have something related to blogging that you want to share with the world, you are more than welcome to give me a shout and I'll be happy to include your piece of knowledge on the website as well.
To conclude, I just want to make it that blogging is not rocket science; It is simply the act of telling the world about who you are, and it can be very profitable if executed properly.
The world is always changing. The Internet is always evolving. Technology is always evolving. At the end, success really depends on one's ability to learn and adapt to the changes. Survival of the fittest, works the same on the Internet.
